How To Explain Delicious To Family and Friends
“The website del.icio.us (pronounced as “delicious") is a social bookmarketing web service for storing, sharing, and discovering web bookmarks. The site was founded by Joshua Schachter in late 2003, and was acquired by Yahoo! in 2005.” (Thank You Wikipedia)
Delicious is one of my favorite bookmarking tools for a number of reasons:
- It goes where I go!
- I have the ‘set it’ and ‘forget it’ mentality.....and of course go back later when I remember, and Delicious is the perfect tool that allows me this freedom.

Hardware Support on Linux
GNU/Linux has come a long way since it was first introduced, including installation ease of use on Ubuntu that’s surpassing that of Microsoft’s, but it still has a few critics about its somewhat lacking hardware compatibility. The reason for this is because hardware manufacturers pay little attention to anything other than Windows regarding drivers.
