  1. Just kudos for showing a monitor with a scene from “Caddyshack” on it!

    I have enjoyed reading the articles on building a PC.  I have built several, and wish I had been able to read these beforehand.

    Keep up the good work.

  3. My family really appreciate and look forward to the tips.

    Please think about putting this on a wish list for two articles for us since most families have least 2 computers or more these days;

    1) step-by-step to network 2 computers though a wireless router.

    2) step-by-step on remote desktop connection configuration (Windows XP) desktop to a office.

    Many Thanks and keep up the good work.
    Jay

  5. Hi i was wondering if you guys can explain the operating system with info about lisences requirements and stuff like… i have a old computer that i want to add things too...but found my mother board is pretty old and i want to buy a new one… doesn’t that require i new operating system or could i just stick in the new mother board...plug all the parts together and have my hard drive keep the operating system? or do i just use my orginal company factory CD? i have windows XP and i’m happy with it but i don’t want to waste my money of buying a part i require to shell out big $ for a operating system or XP again.

  7. Ok, these “tech tips” are getting incredibly lame.  “How to install a keyboard”?!  If you can’t figure that out, you don’t need a computer.  Seriously guys, they used to be something that pertained to those of us who use computers beyond IM and Internet, now I don’t even bother to read them.

  9. Hi, I would like to know where I can find all of the tech tips pertaining to building your own PC.  I don’t understand how to go about installing the operating system using the CD drive when there are no CD drivers installed on the hard drive.  Hummmmmmmm?
