“Late to the Party” Must-Have iPhone Games

With tilt controls and the Multitouch interface, the Apple iPhone, iPod Touch, and now the iPad present unique platforms for gaming experiences not offered on other portable gaming devices. There are more than 185,000 applications on the App Store and almost a third of them are games.

The App Store, as convenient as it might be, is deluged with new content every day, so it’s hard to tell what’s good from what’s not and the rating/review system is usually of no help. Sadly, if a game is not extremely popular, it’s often buried deep in the store and not every game comes with a free demo to try. This makes word of mouth recommendations very powerful.

  1. I would rather add to this list Charadium - free online multiplayer drawing game. I have not tried Harbor Master yet, but WeRule is very addictive and interesting smile
