  1. Hello, Can you tell me the difference between registered and non-registered RAM?  Is this the same as ECC and non-ECC?  Thank you.

    I’m trying to find out if COMPAQ p/n 306431-001 memory (made by Micron, 168 pin pc100 sdram, 128MB) will work OK in an IBM desktop that currently has IBM 64MB 168 pin pc100 sdram in it ... in other words, is there compatibility across systems as long as the sdram matches?

  13. When a specification of computer says, “Maximum memory is 2GB”, is it inclusive 2 memory slots or it’s the maximum memory supported by a single input slot?
