Scanning Photos and Film

You would think that chemical film photography is dead with all the digital cameras flying off the dealer’s shelves these days. I certainly haven’t taken as many snapshots on film as I used to, but there are certain situations where clicking off some exposures on film can’t be beat. Maybe it’s when you are on vacation and it’s raining, or you are going to the beach. You don’t want to get your expensive camera wet, (salt water is especially damaging to electronics), so grab a cheap disposable camera to catch those precious moments.

  3. I have scaned old photos from album but would like to get inividual photos as ther are four to a page and cannot get them off page in album please help

  5. Great article! I ended up using a service instead of doing it myself though. I had too many slides (thousands) to do from my dad’s photography days. I found http://www.gophoto.com searching online - They are a service that will scan slides to a dvd for you. They did a great job! Just thought I’d throw that out there for people who also might find doing a big project themselves overwhelming!
