I understand Motorola is coming out with a new tablet. Any thoughts ?
Why can’t you go back to having the whole tech tip in the email?
VERY NICE!
AWESOME article! It is about time someone acknowledged that Apple didn’t “invent” this category or product - they just struck with the right product at the perfect time. Apple also managed to do it with an good looking device (unlike the UGLY MIDs that were so traditionally being offered), an OS that built off their successful Smartphone platform rather than some bloated desktop platform (I’m looking at you XP!), and an ready made appstore that was bursting with programs ready to run.
Whoa… some picture it like fake to me… but the information was really good to know. thanks
Enjoyed this “history” of the tablet post. I personally love my iPad but will still look at the new ones coming out to see what they offer. I read about the somewhat LAME Panasonic Viera which seems like it is just a glorified remote control - not sure why someone would pay for that?
Hi Ryan. Great Article! But you got the title wrong! It’s not “...Theeeeeey’re Back!”; it is “...They’re Baaaaaaaaack!” Time to rent “Poltergeist” and watch it again, Dude! :D
Always loved tablets even when they were in the form of laptops. Looking forward to getting my hands on the ipad when the price gets a little cheaper.
Great Article, loads of info that will be put to good use. One minor snag tho, IBM first ThinkPad was a P2, the 600e, it predates the 700t by 6 months. I know ‘cause I’ve got one
